How we match you with opponents
NTRP and ELO are the two measures that matching is built on.

NTRP: playing level
NTRP is a playing-level scale from 1.0 to 7.0: you start with a self-assessment, and after 5 matches the app checks it against your results.

ELO: rating from results
ELO is a rating calculated from match results: it rises with every win, and your first 5 matches are placement matches where it changes faster.

Opponents at your level
Based on that, the app suggests opponents of a similar level who are not far from you.
Record your score on your watch
On Apple Watch, Wear OS and Garmin you tap after every ball, the watch counts games and sets, and after the match your score and stats are waiting on your phone.

Is Tenisime paid?
For players, the core of the app (matches, rating, leagues) is free, and Premium with the AI Coach is optional. Any entry fee for a tournament or league is set by the organizer.
How do I join a league?
Find a league in the directory on the website, open its page and choose “Join the league”; signing up happens in the Tenisime app. For a private league you need an invitation from the organizer. See all leagues

What are NTRP and ELO?
NTRP is a playing-level scale, and ELO is a rating calculated from the results of your matches. How we match you with opponents
Do I need to belong to a club?
No. You don't need to belong to a club to take part in tournaments, leagues and hitting sessions: public tournaments and leagues are open to every player.
What is the AI Coach?
It is the part of the app that prepares a pre-match briefing, answers questions in a chat, builds a weekly plan and comments on matches. Some AI features have limits on the free plan.
